Often we might wonder, what kept those thousands of people spell bounded to what Swamiji spoke in Chicago? For us they might be words, but for them, those were truth about values, service, patriotism and selflessness. There might be shadow under the lamp but Swamiji’s words and ideologies are that lamp which casts away even a slightest of doubt. A man who had devoted his heart and soul for the welfare and betterment of this society, he doesn’t deserve an award; rather let us all commemorate him by remembering his philosophies, his radiant ideologies warming generations after generations and spreading the message of selfless act towards our society. On his birthday, we Prayaas Corps bow our head in reverence before Swami Vivekananda.
